MADD Entertainment Scores Global Sales for Top New Dramas

MADD Entertainment has completed a slew of sales for four of its newest hit series across Europe, the Middle East, CIS and Latin America.

The Good & The Bad, about a genius mathematician who escapes the ghetto only to be drawn back by his estranged father, has sold into Russia and CIS. Leyla, an adaptation of Globo’s Avenida Brasil, has secured broadcasters in Croatia, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, MENA, Mexico, Montenegro, Panama, Spain, Romania, Russia and CIS.

Both series are produced by Ay Yapım. The Good & The Bad stars Aras Bulut İynemli (The Pit), Uğur Polat (Family Secrets), Taner Ölmez (A Miracle), Melis Sezen (A Woman Scorned), Ahsen Eroğlu (The Agency), Onur Saylak (Crash) and Seda Akman (My Wonderful Life). Leyla, meanwhile, features Gonca Vuslateri (Mother), Cemre Baysel (Twist of Fate), Alperen Duymaz (Last Summer, Crash), Halil İbrahim Ceyhan (Dirty Laundry, Legacy), Cengiz Bozkurt (Black Board) and Zeyno Eracar (Family Secrets, Endless Love).

MADD Entertainment has also sold Far Away, inspired by Al Hayba by Cedars Art Production (Sabbah Brothers), into Israel, MENA, Romania, Spain, Russia and CIS. The Ay Yapım production tells the story of a woman from Canada being trapped in an Eastern town of Türkiye. Its cast includes features Sinem Ünsal (A Miracle, My Little Girl), Ozan Akbaba (The Father, Kuzey Güney), Müfit Kayacan (The Game of Destiny, Brave and Beautiful), Gonca Cilasun (Street Birds), Alper Çankaya (The Family, Our Father) and Mine Kılıç (Wings of Love).

Medyapim’s Portrait of a Scandalous Family was picked up in Israel and MENA. Led by Vahide Gördüm (Bitterlands, Mother), Meryem Uzerli (Magnificent Century), Fırat Tanış (Farah, Evermore) and Devrim Yakut (Dirty Laundry, Chrysalis), the historical true story is set in the last days of the Ottoman Empire and centers on an illustrious family who helped define Türkiye in the 20th century.
