Line of Duty Generates Sales for Content Television

CANNES: Content Television has lined up a number of new broadcast deals for the thriller Line of Duty, which had its third season launch at MIPTV.

The new season of Line of Duty recently made its debut on BBC Two in the U.K. Content Television has secured pan-regional deals for the new 5×1-hour and 1×90-minute series, with DirecTV in Latin America and BBC Worldwide for Benelux. VOD rights for the series have been picked up by Hulu for the U.S. Further deals were inked in France (France TV), Brazil (Globosat), Africa (ITV), Norway (NRK), Iceland (RUV), Sweden (SVT), Denmark (DR), Germany (TMG), Malta (Go TV), Australia (NBCUniversal) and New Zealand (Sky). Acorn also signed video, DTO and VOD rights for the U.S. and Canada.

In addition to launching season three, Content Television will be offering presale rights for the drama’s fourth season, which is slated to go into production later this year.
