Lifetime Goes Straight to Series with New Greg Berlanti Thriller

The psychological thriller You, from Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble, has received a straight-to-series order from Lifetime.

Based on Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling novel of the same name, You is a 21st-century love story that asks, “What would you do for love?” The series, picked up for an initial ten episodes, is produced by Berlanti Productions and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Scripted Television and A+E Studios.

Liz Gateley, the executive VP and head of programming for Lifetime, said: “You is the most twisted love story ever. A romantic thriller centered around a relationship between two people that gets taken too far, the series explores the line between passion and obsession. In the amazingly talented hands of Greg and Sera, we know this project will be special.”
