LEONINE Studios Sells Troppo

LEONINE Studios’ crime-drama series Troppo has been sold across Europe.

Basic pay-TV, SVOD, TVOD and EST rights to the series went to CANAL+ Group’s thriller channel POLAR+ for French-speaking territories. AMC Networks Central Europe also acquired the pay-TV, free-TV and SVOD rights for its Adria-Balkan territories, as well as for the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Romania. The free-TV rights were also sold to RTP2 Portugal.

The series was previously sold to Viaplay for the Nordics and the Netherlands, as well as Amazon Freevee for Germany and the U.K.

Troppo is based on the successful Crimson Lake novel series written by Candice Fox. LEONINE also handles international sales for the second season, which recently completed production.

LEONINE’s political thriller series Bonn has also been sold. The free-TV rights were snagged by RTV Slovenija, MTVA Hungary, RTP2 Portugal and SBS Australia.
