Legendary TV & HBO Max Align for Brujo

Legendary Television and HBO Max have signed a multi-script development deal for Brujo, a limited series based on the true story of the notorious cult leader and serial killer Adolfo de Jesús Constanzo.

Starring Diego Boneta (Luis Miguel: La Serie), Brujo centers on Constanzo and the power he came into as his impossible acts of dark magic came to light. The series will play out through the eyes of two unlikely followers who helped him in his rise as the go-to witch doctor for celebrities, politicians, high-ranking police officers and powerful crime families, through his evolution into a notorious cult leader and serial killer, and his dramatic downfall.

The Spanish/English-language series reunites the Luis Miguel team, including writer Daniel Krauze, director Humberto Hinojosa and Boneta, who will serve as executive producers. Pablo Garcia will produce alongside Hinojosa under their company Tigre Pictures. Automatik will also serve as a producer.
