About Premium Content (APC) has picked up the global rights for the third season of the BBC/S4C drama series Keeping Faith and has also secured a scripted format deal with Quad Drama in France for TF1.

Produced by Vox Pictures for S4C and BBC Wales, and gap-financed by Nevision, Keeping Faith has seen two successful seasons on BBC iPlayer, with over 33 million requests to date. The viewing figures for the first and second seasons of the Welsh-language version of the show, Un Bore Mercher, were among the highest for an S4C drama since 2010.

APC extended its co-production deal with Acorn Media Enterprises for all rights to the third season of Keeping Faith across the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand, plus home entertainment in the U.K. and Ireland. AMC Networks’ Acorn TV will feature its U.S. and Canadian premiere as an Acorn TV Original in 2021, coinciding with the BBC premiere. Acorn Media International will oversee Acorn’s distribution rights in Australia, New Zealand, the U.K. and Ireland.

FOX in Germany extended its agreement for season three along with TV4 Media, which has secured the SVOD rights to all three seasons for Denmark, Norway and Sweden and picked up the free-TV rights for TV4 Sweden.

In a separate deal, APC has sold the remake rights in the French language to Quad Drama for TF1, with production slated for 2020.

Laurent Boissel and Emmanuelle Guilbart, joint-CEOs and co-founders at APC, said: “With Keeping Faith continuing to resonate with audiences both in the U.K. and internationally, we are delighted to have secured further deals across the globe as the BBC and S4C commit to a new season of this riveting drama. We are also thrilled that the first local version of the show is going into production and look forward to securing further scripted format deals for the show.”
