Jordi Frades Named Director of Diagonal TV

Jordi Frades, whose credits include La corona partida and La Catedral del Mar, has been appointed as director of Diagonal TV.

Frades has held the position of creative producer and content director at Diagonal TV and as of this month, also takes on the responsibilities of Montse García as director. Frades directed the feature film La corona partida, alongside series such as El nudo, Matadero and period dramas such as La señora, Isabel and La Catedral del Mar.

Diagonal TV’s CEO, Jaume Banacolocha, said: “Adding Frades’ successful track record as creator and director of fiction series to the company’s management team, we reinforce our commitment to the national and international creativity of Diagonal TV, where we are already working on co-production projects with other territories.
