Inter Medya Sells Miniseries into Latin America & Asia

Inter Medya has sold several Turkish miniseries to VOD platforms in Brazil and Thailand.

Brazil’s Globoplay picked up both eight-episode seasons of Naked, which tells the story of an escort who is hired for a bachelor party and ends up falling in love with the groom.

In Thailand, Monomax licensed a package of miniseries, including Naked, Interrupted and Tainted Love. Interrupted follows a young journalist who dies in an unfortunate accident but gets a second chance at life. Tainted Love tells a story of forgiveness and trust.

“It is promising to witness the success of new-generation Turkish series, especially in the regions where we don’t usually license Turkish dramas,” said Can Okan, founder and CEO of Inter Medya. “We highly believe these miniseries will lead us to enter into new markets such as the United States, Western Europe and the Nordics.”
