Inter Medya has sold two drama series, including The Girl of the Green Valley, into Latin America.

Inspired by Lucy Maud Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables, The Girl of the Green Valley tells the story of a girl who is left without a mother and father. Chile’s Canal 13 and Uruguay’s Canal 1 Saeta have acquired it.

The Girl of the Green Valley is produced by Yesil Yapim and stars Beren Gökyıldız.

Canal 13 in Chile also picked up Scorpion, a women-oriented drama with a story about betrayal, love and motherhood.

“We are happy to announce that we are bringing our successful dramas Scorpion and The Girl of the Green Valley to Latin America,” said Beatriz Cea Okan, VP and head of sales and acquisitions at Inter Medya. “We are sure that both of the series will be loved by the audience.”
