Hulu Orders The Other Typist with Keira Knightley

Keira Knightley (Pride & Prejudice, Pirates of the Caribbean) is on board to star in and executive produce a series adaptation of Suzanne Rindell’s novel The Other Typist for Hulu.

The story is set in New York City at the height of the Prohibition era. It is billed as “a psycho-sexual suspense thriller,” following as a prim, unworldly police department typist gets drawn into the shady world of her glamorous new co-worker, Odalie (Knightley).

Searchlight Television and 20th Century Fox Television are attached to produce. Ilene Chaiken (The L Word, Empire) will serve as writer, showrunner and executive producer. Rindell and Oly Obst for 3 Arts Entertainment will also serve as EPs.
