HBO Renews Vinyl After Just One Episode

LOS ANGELES: HBO has already renewed the Mick Jagger-Martin Scorsese drama Vinyl for a second season.

The show’s first ten-episode season kicked off on Sunday, February 14, with a two-hour pilot. The debut drew 764,000 viewers in the 9 p.m. slot.

Vinyl was created by Jagger and Scorsese, along with Rich Cohen and Terence Winter. It’s set against the backdrop of the drug-addled music business of the early 1970s.

Bobby Cannavale stars alongside Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Ato Essandoh, Max Casella, P.J. Byrne, J.C. MacKenzie, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Juno Temple, Jack Quaid, James Jagger and Paul Ben-Victor.
