HBO Europe Kicks Off Production on Valley of Silence

BRAȘOV: Production has started on the upcoming 4×1-hour HBO Europe miniseries Valley of Silence (Valea Mută).

Production is scheduled for 40 days, including location shooting in Braşov, Săcele and Bucharest, for a debut at the end of this year. The thriller is shown through the eyes of two teenage boys who witness a murder in a remote mountain region. If the teenagers keep their vow of silence about what they saw, the case will never be solved and the killer will go unpunished.

Valley of Silence is written by Cristian Barna and directed by Marian Crisan, and is based on Øyevitne/EyeWitness, a Norwegian format. DRG holds international distribution rights. NRK is the producer.
