GMA Dramas Land in Malaysia & Myanmar

GMA Worldwide has brought two of the Philippines-based company’s prime-time dramas to Malaysia and Myanmar.

Starring GMA artist Barbie Forteza, the romantic comedy Meant to Be follows four guys of different racial and cultural backgrounds who fall in love with the same girl (Forteza), who they try to woo with their different languages of love. It’s slated to air on Malaysia’s TV Okey starting December 23.

Fantasy drama Kara Mia, also starring Forteza, tells the story of twin sisters who grow up as unique individuals with their own faces and minds but who are trapped in one body. The series will bow on the MWD Documentary Channel in Myanmar beginning December 27.

Forteza, who is dubbed GMA’s primetime princess, has also starred in the 2018 hit Happy Together and in the daytime series Wagas: Wait, Is This Love?
