Global Constellation to Distribute All Heroes Are Bastards

Global Constellation, part of Vuelta, has taken on the global distribution rights to the German fantasy drama series All Heroes Are Bastards.

Set to be delivered at the end of 2026, the six-part series takes place in a radically divided Cologne, with a deepening social division that targets migrant communities. When Malik, Dina and Hamza discover a mysterious artifact that grants them extraordinary powers, they join forces to find children that have been taken and separated from their families, confronting systemic oppression head on.

The series is produced by Picture Me Rollin and bildundtonfabrik for ARD Degeto Film in Germany, with the support of Film- und Medienstiftung NRW and the German Motion Picture Fund. It is created, directed, written and executive produced by Esra and Patrick Phul, founders of Picture Me Rollin.

The cast includes Kebir Sargin in his debut acting role, alongside David Mayonga (Girl You Know It’s True, Wholetrain), Funda Bostanlik (Cinayet-I Ask, Siginak) and Pegah Ferydoni (A Murder at the End of the World, Turkish for Beginners).
