Global Agency Picks Up Rise of Empires: Ottoman

Global Agency has inked a distribution deal with STXtv for the Netflix original series Rise of Empires: Ottoman for LatAm.

STXtv’s six-episode series—produced by Karga Seven Pictures, a Red Arrow Studios company—uses a blend of scripted and documentary elements to chronicle the rise of Ottoman ruler Mehmed II, aka Mehmed the Conqueror. The 6×1-hour miniseries chronicles Mehmed II’s fabled rise from 12-year-old child sultan to the ruler of the Ottoman Empire and founder of Istanbul.

Tuba Büyüküstün (Mara), Birkan Sokullu (Giustiniani), Cem Yigit Üzümoglu (Mehmed) and Tommaso Basili (Emperor Constantine) star.
