Final Season of You Gets April Debut Date

Netflix has scheduled the fifth and final season of You to bow on April 24, with all ten episodes dropping at once.

In the new season, Joe Goldberg returns to New York to enjoy his happily ever after, but his perfect life is threatened by the ghosts of his past and his own dark desires. As he contends with his wife’s siblings, he crosses paths with a young woman who makes him reconsider his affluent life.

Starring alongside Penn Badgley are Charlotte Ritchie, Madeline Brewer (The Handmaid’s Tale), Griffin Matthews (The Flight Attendant), Anna Camp (Hysteria!), Natasha Behnam (The Girls on the Bus), b (Station 19, Birds of Empire), Pete Ploszek (Parks and Recreation), Tom Francis (Sunset Boulevard) and Nava Mau (Baby Reindeer).

You is produced by Warner Bros. Television. Michael Foley and Justin Lo are showrunners and writers. They also executive produce alongside Greg Berlanti, Sera Gamble, Badgley, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, Leslie Morgenstein, Gina Girolamo, Marcos Siega and Neil Reynolds.

“We always said that we would stop after five and [that], in a perfect world, we would bring Joe back home to New York,” Foley and Lo said. “We loved the idea of things coming full circle for him. We’re excited by the fact that Joe came home as such a different person than [who] we saw in season one. At the core of our final story for Joe is this dichotomy of the old and the new.”
