Family Law Lands Fourth Season

A fourth season of Family Law has been ordered by Global ahead of the show’s season three premiere.

The Canadian legal drama follows a family who grapples with managing cases and their interpersonal relationships at the same time. Created by author Susin Nielsen and produced by Seven24 Films and Lark Productions, the show is set to resume production in Vancouver this March.

Jewel Staite, Victor Garber, Zach Smadu, Genelle Williams and Lauren Holly are all set to return for the new season.

Family Law’s season three Canadian premiere will be scheduled later this year.

Global is a Corus Entertainment Network.

“As a top 20 hit for Global and the number-one Canadian scripted series last summer, currently airing on the CW in the U.S. and in many other markets internationally, this renewal today demonstrates the success of our original content at home and abroad,” said Troy Reeb, executive VP of networks and content for Corus Entertainment. “We are thrilled to continue telling the stories of Abby and the Svensson family for another season and to keep audiences entertained as they navigate new cases and their personal lives.”
