Eccho Rights Notches Up Deals on Cennet

Eccho Rights has sold the Turkish drama series Cennet, which was a top performer on ATV in Turkey last year, into a number of new countries around the world.

The Süreç Film-produced drama will air on Nova in Spain and on OBN in Bosnia. It has been picked up by Canal+ for sub-Saharan Africa, as well as by MKCS Global in Myanmar to be the first Turkish drama broadcast on its female-skewing channel 4ladies.

“Cennet is a very strong series with truly global appeal, as reflected by these latest wide-ranging international deals,” said Handan Özkubat, director of Turkish drama at Eccho Rights. “It exhibits all the classic hallmarks of Turkish drama, with a heartbreaking romance at its core, family conflicts and a highly talented cast.”
