TORONTO: CraveTV is set to premiere the drama series Billions early next year, day and date with Showtime in the U.S.

The series, which stars Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis, is slated to debut on January 17 at 10 p.m., with new episodes streaming every Sunday night through its run. In addition, CraveTV will become available direct to consumers in January, making Billions the first new Showtime series to be offered to all Canadians with internet access. The series will anchor CraveTV’s exclusive Showtime Collection, joining other popular Showtime series such as Homeland, The Affair and Ray Donovan.

“We couldn't ask for a better series to offer directly to premium TV fans across the country," said Mike Cosentino, the senior VP of programming for CTV Networks and CraveTV. "Smart, provocative and hugely entertaining, Billions is a game changer for CraveTV, immediately giving Canadians a billion more reasons to subscribe."
