Conviction Secures U.K., France, LatAm Deals

LOS ANGELES: Entertainment One’s (eOne) new ABC procedural Conviction starring Hayley Atwell has been acquired by Sky Living in the U.K., TF1 in France and Fox Networks Group Latin America.

“International buyers continue to want strong procedural shows from the U.S. networks and we are really pleased how well the market has responded to another great show from The Mark Gordon Company,” commented Stuart Baxter, the president of eOne Television International.

The series stars Atwell as Hayes Morrison, the daughter of a former U.S. president who is blackmailed into taking a job as the head of New York’s newly created Conviction Integrity Unit. Atwell will be at MIPCOM to launch the show globally.
