The third season of COBRA: Rebellion is slated to bow on Sky Max and NOW on October 12.

In the new season, Prime Minister Robert Sutherland’s administration is plunged into chaos in light of a controversial police-protest bill and an environmental demonstration that ends with grave consequences.

As the inquest into the protest events gets underway, the Prime Minister and his government realize that everything is not as it seems. With his daughter potentially involved with the group behind it all, Sutherland’s interest in the case isn’t purely political, adding further strife to his already-strained home life. And as the investigation takes him deeper into the dark underbelly of the nation’s power, he begins to doubt who on his team he can truly trust.

Robert Carlyle, Victoria Hamilton (The Crown) and Anna Marshall return, while Jane Horrocks (Bloods, Absolutely Fabulous) joins the cast. The new season also stars David Haig (Killing Eve), Richard Pepple (Gangs of London), Marsha Thomason (The Bay), Lisa Palfrey (Chloe), Lucy Cohu (Ripper Street), Alexa Davies (Dead Pixels) and Edward Bennett (Save Me Too).

COBRA: Rebellion is made by New Pictures, part of All3Media, in association with Sky Studios.
