Casualty Christmas Special Coming to BBC One

A new season of the medical drama Casualty is set to bow on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in December with a Christmas special.

The special, which was teased in a short clip at the end of the most recent season finale on September 7, will celebrate the gift of giving and will be told in an innovative, format-breaking way.

The BAFTA Award-winning medical drama has been broadcasting since 1986 and is the longest-running prime-time medical series in the world. It is set in the fictional Holby City Hospital in southwest England.
