Bryan Seabury Tapped for CBS Television Studios Post

LOS ANGELES: CBS Television Studios has named Bryan Seabury as its new senior VP of drama development for broadcast and cable programming.

Seabury succeeds Julie McNamara, who has been tapped to oversee original content at CBS All Access. Reporting to David Stapf, president of CBS Television Studios, Seabury will oversee development and creation of prime-time drama series for broadcast, cable and streaming services. He has spent the last seven years in drama development at CBS Entertainment, but previously served as VP of drama series at the studio, developing The Good Wife and NCIS: Los Angeles, among other shows.

“I’ve worked with Bryan for nearly ten years at both the network and studio,” Stapf said. “His exceptional creativity and dedication make him one of the most respected and trusted executives in the industry. In addition to his creative talent, he’s worked on both the buying and selling side, providing great perspective to all the key constituents we produce for.”
