Inter Medya has landed a raft of new deals on the drama Bitter Lands, which tells the story of a legendary love that begins in Istanbul during the 1970s.

New broadcasters have come on board in Chile, Mexico, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Hispanic market and Central America (Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras and the Dominican Republic). The show, from TIMS&B Productions, asks whether love is eternal against the realities of life.

Beatriz Cea Okan, sales executive of Inter Medya, said, “Bitter Lands became a phenomenon in Turkey very soon after its launch and we are certain that the hype surrounding the story and characters will reach the entire globe. We are happy to see that the demand for Turkish dramas is still strong and in addition to these new deals, we hope to conclude some ongoing negotiations in various territories soon. We look forward to seeing the series on many international channels.”
