BET+ has teamed up with Chris “Ludacris” Bridges to develop a scripted series inspired by his journey in the competitive music scene in Atlanta as DJ Chris Lova Lova.

Written by Noah Gardenswartz (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), the series will follow the adventures of an ensemble who are willing to do anything and everything to bolster ratings at their hip-hop radio station. Ludacris will executive produce and serve as music supervisor.

The series comes from Universal Television and Disturbing Tha Peace. It will be a half-hour dramedy.

In addition to Ludacris, other executive producers are Gardenswartz; Malcolm D. Lee; Larry Wilmore; Dominique Telson for Blackmaled Productions; Chaka Zulu and Jeff Dixon for Disturbing Tha Peace; Josh Bratman; and David Blackman for Polygram Entertainment.
