The Australian drama series Prosper is set to make its Canadian debut on Super Channel Fuse on March 24.

Produced by Lingo Pictures and commissioned by Lionsgate and Stan, the series takes place in one of the fastest growing evangelical megachurches in the world, run by the wealthy and powerful Quinn family. As they prepare to expand from Australia into the U.S., they struggle to protect their shameful secrets, which would threaten their messages of faith, love and acceptance.

Prosper stars Richard Roxburgh (Elvis, Van Helsing) as the founder and pastor of the megachurch U Star, Cal Quinn, and Rebecca Gibney (Halifax: Retribution, Back to the Rafters, Wanted) as his wife, Abi Quinn. Additional cast members include Ewen Leslie (Peter Rabbit, Pieces of Her), Hayley McCarthy (Sylvie’s Love, The Originals), Jacob Collins-Levy (True History of the Kelly Gang, The Witcher: Blood Origin), Ming-Zhu Hii (La Brea, Peter Rabbit), Jordi Webber (Nomad, Power Rangers), Jacek Koman (Moulin Rouge!, Children of Men), Andrea Solonge (Class of ’07, Privileged), Brigid Zengeni (The Artful Dodger, Totally Completely Fine) and Alex Fitzalan (The Wilds, Slender Man).

“On the heels of Prosper’s critically acclaimed Australian broadcast premiere last summer, we’re excited to bring this razor-sharp series to our subscribers,” said Kimberley Ball, chief content officer of Super Channel. “We feel that Prosper will fill the void of past prime-time family dramas, like Dallas and, most recently, Succession, with a saga that fuses great dialogue and sibling rivalries to explore the consequences that occur when religion and capitalism collide.”

“I am pleased to announce our partnership with Super Channel to bring the captivating series Prosper to Canadian audiences,” commented Susan Hummel, Lionsgate’s executive VP and managing director for Canada and head of domestic channels. “This collaboration exemplifies our commitment to delivering top-tier entertainment that will resonate with viewers.”
