Aussie Legal Drama Janet King to Stream in the U.S. on Acorn TV

SILVER SPRING: The legal drama Janet King: The Enemy Within, which stars Australian actress Marta Dusseldorp (A Place to Call Home), will make its U.S. premiere on Acorn TV on March 14.

The eight-part Australian series focuses on the life of Janet King, a senior crown prosecutor. She returns to work from maternity leave and finds herself involved in a high-profile and controversial case. The show will debut on March 14 on Acorn TV with back-to-back episodes, followed by a new episode every Monday through April 25.

Acorn TV also picked up for a U.S. premiere Very British Problems. Debuting on the streaming service on March 28, the show is narrated by Julie Walters (Harry Potter films, Indian Summers, Brooklyn). It features top British talents sharing their issues that come with “being British.”

Acorn TV recently expanded its reach, becoming available on Apple TV and in a new iOS app for iPhone and iPad.
