Apple TV+ Orders New Series from Sam Esmail

Apple TV+ has given a series order for Metropolis, the latest project from creator and director Sam Esmail (Mr. Robot, Homecoming, Gaslit).

Produced by UCP, the series is inspired by the Fritz Land science-fiction work of the same name. Esmail will write, direct, showrun and executive produce via his overall deal with UCP.

Chad Hamilton will also executive produce.
