Apple Sets Psychological Thriller from M. Night Shyamalan

Apple has given a straight-to-series order for an untitled psychological thriller from M. Night Shyamalan and writer Tony Basgallop.

The 10×30-minute original thriller will be executive produced by Oscar- and Golden Globe Award-nominated writer and director Shyamalan (Unbreakable, Split, Glass), who will also direct the first episode. The project is created by BAFTA-nominated producer Basgallop (24, To the Ends of the Earth), who will write and executive produce the series. 

The show will be produced by Blinding Edge Pictures with Ashwin Rajan (Split, Wayward Pines) serving as executive producer, along with the Escape Artists team of Jason Blumenthal (The Equalizer, The Pursuit of Happyness), Todd Black (Fences, The Magnificent Seven) and Steve Tisch (Forrest Gump, Risky Business), as well as co-executive producer Taylor Latham.
