Apple Orders Anthology Series Little America

Apple has ordered Little America, a half-hour anthology series featuring the stories of immigrants, from Universal Television.

The series hails from Lee Eisenberg (The Office) and the screenwriters of The Big Sick, Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon. Eisenberg will serve as showrunner, with Alan Yang (Master of None, Parks and Recreation) exec producing through Universal Television.

The episodes in the anthology series will be inspired by true stories about immigrants from Epic Magazine. Writers Joshuah Bearman and Joshua Davis, co-founders of Epic, will serve as exec producers on the project.
