LONDON: The upcoming AMC martial arts drama Into the Badlands, which stars Daniel Wu, has been licensed by Entertainment One (eOne) Television to Amazon as a U.K. exclusive for Prime Video.

The series is loosely based on the Chinese classic tale Journey to the West. It will be available to U.K. Amazon Prime members on a weekly basis starting November 16, after the episodes air in the U.S.

We look forward to bringing this highly anticipated show to U.K. audiences alongside the extensive library of award-winning and critically acclaimed original and exclusive TV shows only available on Prime Video.”

"We're delighted to be expanding our existing relationship with Amazon on Into the Badlands which was much sought after when we launched it at MIPCOM," added Stuart Baxter, the president of eOne Television International.
