all3media international has signed new deals for Studio Lambert’s The Nest in Asia, the U.S. and Europe.

The five-part drama is set to bow in the U.S., Canada and Latin America on AMC Networks’ streaming service Acorn TV, beginning July 13. Viewers in Scandinavia (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland) will be able to see the show on the pay-TV channel C More, while Spain’s Comunidad Filmin has secured rights to air The Nest on its SVOD service. A deal for Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia has been concluded with BBC Global Channels. The series made its debut on BBC One in the U.K. in March.

Starring Martin Compston (Line of Duty), Sophie Rundle (Peaky Blinders) and Mirren Mack (Sex Education), The Nest centers on a wealthy couple that makes a pact with an 18-year-old girl to carry their baby. Though Dan (Compston) and Emily (Rundle) feel like they were fated to meet Kaya (Mack), questions arise about how she has brought into their lives and whether or not they’ve embarked on a relationship of mutually assured destruction.

Maartje Horchner, executive VP Content at all3media international, said: “We’re delighted that we have been able to close a raft of deals so quickly for The Nest, a premium primetime drama that we know will keep audiences hooked wherever it airs. A truly suspenseful thriller exploring love, trust and the cost of being able to buy whatever you want, The Nest features outstanding performances from Martin Compston, Sophie Rundle and newcomer Mirren Mack, alongside a skilfully layered story from the acclaimed Nicole Taylor. We look forward to confirming more deals globally as we continue to roll the drama out to our international buyers.”

Susan Hogg, head of drama for Studio Lambert and executive producer of The Nest, said: “The Nest is the third collaboration between Studio Lambert, all3media international and BAFTA-winning writer Nicole Taylor. In this gripping and pacey drama, Taylor gives us huge hooks and thrilling twists. The Nest is an extraordinarily emotional story that will resonate with audiences across the globe. It has already garnered excellent reviews and fantastic viewing figures in the U.K. and we are excited to share this wonderful thriller with an international audience.”

Don Klees, senior VP of programming for Acorn TV at AMC Networks, added: “After working with our friends at all3media international on two hugely popular series with the return of Miss Fisher and Blood earlier this year and the upcoming return of Welsh drama Hidden, we’re excited to work with them on this excellent new U.K. drama. With its first-rate ensemble cast and riveting script, The Nest is sure to thrill our subscribers across North and South America.”
