A+E Networks International has tapped Moreyba Bidessie to lead its expansion into internationally focused scripted co-productions.

Bidessie has been appointed as director of scripted development and sales, reporting to Richard Tulk-Hart, managing director of international content sales and co-productions at A+E Networks.

From London, Bidessie will develop a scripted acquisition strategy to complement A+E Studios scripted originals from the U.S. She will look to develop a portfolio of development deals with producers, writers, directors and actors. She will also manage the development and production of all shows in which A+E Networks is invested as a co-producer. She joins A+E from Sky Vision, where she served as scripted acquisitions manager.

“Moreyba Bidessie is a talented acquisitions executive whose wealth of experience in effectively sourcing and developing scripted projects for commercial success across the international marketplace will play a significant role in our continued growth in the scripted co-production space,” said Tulk-Hart. “We look forward to her attracting even more top producers and important projects to fuel A+E Networks’ international pipeline of scripted fare that resonates with viewers around the globe.”
