Jeffrey Archer’s action-crime novel False Impression is being developed as a Chinese TV drama.

The U.K.-based indie producer Wilson Worldwide Productions (WWP) is working with Canada’s New Franchise Media to bring the story to the small screen. The TV adaptation will be overseen by Susan Tang, the head of WWP’s Asia division based in Beijing and a former drama exec at the Shanghai Media Group.

Jeffrey Steiner, behind Pinewood Toronto Studios, holds the worldwide film, TV and digital rights to ten thriller novels by Archer.
