Acorn Media International (AMI) has inked a deal with the BBC for London Kills, in addition to licensing the rights for Finding Joy and Keeping Faith to Australia’s ABC TV.

BBC One picked up seasons one and two of the police drama London Kills, which features among its cast Sharon Small (The Inspector Lynley Mysteries) and Hugo Speer (Father Brown). Sue Deeks, head of program acquisition for the BBC, said: “London Kills is a crisp and complex police drama with compelling characters portrayed by a top-notch cast. Viewers are in for a treat with this series, and we’re really looking forward to showing it on the BBC.”

Finding Joy, which was created by Irish actor and comic Amy Huberman, is headed to iView followed by ABC Comedy. ABC TV picked up second-window rights for the thriller Keeping Faith, which launched previously on BBC First in Australia and UK TV in New Zealand.
