ABS-CBN Novela Betrayal Makes Its Way to Africa

The hit Philippine telenovela Betrayal, starring Jericho Rosales, has landed in Africa, thanks to a deal between ABS-CBN and Azam Media.

The series centers on Lino Bartolome (Rosales) and Jacky Corpuz (Yen Santos), childhood sweethearts whose respective spouses Jade (Yam Concepcion) and Ace (Sam Milby) have an affair. The show has been airing in Tanzania since February.

In the Philippines, Betrayal consistently earns high nightly ratings. The show has been extended twice already.
