Sky Atlantic Picks Up Danny Boyle’s FX Series Trust

Sky Atlantic is bringing the ten-part series Trust, about the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III, to its viewers across the U.K., Ireland, Italy, Germany and Austria this spring.

From the Academy Award-winning team of Danny Boyle, Simon Beaufoy and Christian Colson, Trust is inspired by actual events surrounding the kidnapping of an heir to the Getty oil fortune by the Italian mafia in Rome. It stars Donald Sutherland and Hilary Swank.

The show is produced by FX Productions, Cloud Eight Films, Decibal Films and Snicket Films. Trust was licensed for Sky from Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution. The series will also be available on streaming service NOW TV in the U.K. and Ireland.
