Turkish Drama Brave and Beautiful Enters New Markets

The Ay Yapim-produced drama Brave and Beautiful has been licensed by Eccho Rights into new markets around the globe, including Colombia.

The series, which stars Kivanc Tatlituğ and Tuba Büyüküstün, has been placed as the flagship drama for the launch of the brand-new Canal Uno, rolling out this week in Colombia. The drama also debuts in prime time this week on WAPA TV in Puerto Rico. Telefuturo in Paraguay picked up the series as well.

Outside of LatAm, Brave and Beautiful is headed to Bulgaria, where bTV is launching the title as its latest Turkish drama acquisition.

“We have already secured 20 sales for Brave and Beautiful with more in the final stages of negotiation,” said Fredrik af Malmborg, the managing director at Eccho Rights. “The star names and reputation of producers Ay Yapim are viewed as a guarantee of success for buyers who need top series for their schedules.”
