New Conspiracy Thriller Shooter Picked Up by Quebecor Content

MONTREAL: Quebecor Content has secured a licensing deal with Paramount Worldwide Television Licensing & Distribution to bring the series Shooter to its audiences in Québec.

Shooter is based on the best-selling novel Point of Impact by Stephen Hunter and the 2007 Paramount film starring Mark Wahlberg. The series stars Ryan Phillippe (Secrets and Lies), who plays Bob Lee Swagger, a highly-decorated veteran who is coaxed back into action to prevent a plot to kill the president.
