LONDON: IMG and The Ink Factory have secured network partners in territories around the globe for the upcoming television adaptation of John le Carré's best-selling book The Night Manager.

International partners for The Night Manager include Tele München Gruppe for German-speaking Europe; C More and TV4 for the Nordic territories; DR for Denmark; Sky Italia for Italy; BBC First and SBS for Australia; TV3 for New Zealand; AMC International for Iberia, Eastern Europe, Russia, Asia (excluding Japan), Latin America, Africa and the Middle East; and Sony Pictures for North American home entertainment. The espionage drama, due to debut globally early next year, stars Hugh Laurie (House) and Tom Hiddleston (The Avengers) in a story of modern criminality. It was developed by BBC One with The Ink Factory and AMC as U.S. network partners.

Simon Cornwell, co-founder of The Ink Factory, said: "It has been an enormous privilege to work with [director] Susanne Bier, Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston—an extraordinarily talented cast and crew—and indeed with John le Carré himself to bring The Night Manager to the screen. It's a much-loved novel of great scope and power, brilliantly adapted and updated by David Farr. With the support and vision of the BBC and AMC, along with WME and IMG and the commitment of great broadcasters around the world, we've been able to deliver tremendous scale in the production."
