Prime Video Unveils Scarpetta Release Date

Scarpetta, based on Patricia Cornwell’s novels, will premiere on Prime Video on March 11.

The thriller crime series, produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Blumhouse Television, was developed and written by Liz Sarnoff. It stars and is executive produced by Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis.

The ensemble cast includes Bobby Cannavale, Simon Baker, Ariana DeBose, Rosy McEwen, Jake Cannavale, Hunter Parrish and Amanda Righetti

Scarpetta unfolds across two timelines. This dual narrative explores Kay Scarpetta’s journey from her beginnings as a chief medical examiner in the late ’90s to her present-day return to her hometown, where she resumes her former position while investigating a grisly murder.
