BritBox Slates The Lady Premiere

The four-part drama The Lady will premiere on March 18 on BritBox.

Written by Debbie O’Malley and directed by Lee Haven Jones, the series follows the rise and fall of former royal aide Jane Andrews, whose rags-to-riches fairy tale fell apart when she was convicted of murder. It stars Mia McKenna-Bruce, Natalie Dormer and Ed Speleers.

The cast also includes Philip Glenister, Claire Skinner, Laura Aikman, Ophelia Lovibond, Mark Stanley, Daniel Ryan and Sean Teale.

Executive producers on behalf of BritBox are Robert Schildhouse, Jess O’Riordan and Stephen Nye; Polly Hill for ITV; and executive producers for Left Bank Pictures are creative director Sian McWilliams, CEO Andy Harries and Rebecca Hodgson, with Florence Haddon-Cave as producer.
