Foxtel Group Acquires The ’Burbs in Australia from UCP

The Foxtel Group has acquired The ‘Burbs in Australia starring Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall from Universal Content Productions (UCP) for Binge.

All eight episodes of the mystery comedy series will premiere on Binge on February 8. Creator of the series, Celeste Hughey, serves as writer and executive producer alongside Rachel Shukert.

Executive producers are Seth MacFarlane, Erica Huggins and Aimee Carlson for Fuzzy Door and Brian Grazer, Kristen Zolner and Natalie Berkus for Imagine Entertainment. Palmer also executive produces. Nzingha Stewart directs and executive produces, and Dana Olsen is a co-executive producer.

Starring next to Palmer and Whitehall are Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Mark Proksch and Kapil Talwalkar.

The ‘Burbs follows a young couple who have reluctantly relocated to the husband’s childhood home. Their world is upended when a new neighbor moves in across the street, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light.
