Slow Horses Lands Seventh Season Renewal

Apple TV+ has given an early seventh season order to the award-winning espionage drama Slow Horses.

Starring Sir Gary Oldman, the series is set to return for its fifth season in September. A sixth season was ordered last year. Season seven is being adapted from the Bad Actors novel in Mick Herron’s Slough House book series.

Slow Horses has won fans all over the world with its unique mix of self-deprecating British humor and high-octane action,” said Jay Hunt, creative director for Europe at Apple TV+. “I’m delighted viewers will have another season to enjoy Gary’s magnificent performance as Jackson Lamb alongside the Slow Horses slightly inept spycraft.”

The series is produced for Apple TV+ by See-Saw Films. Season seven is adapted for television and executive produced by Ben Vanstone, with Robert McKillop set to direct.
