Video Interview: Midnight Family’s Showunner & Director Natalia Beristáin

The new ten-episode medical drama Midnight Family takes viewers deep into Mexico City, where an ambitious and gifted medical student spends her nights saving lives in her family’s ambulance with the help of her father and siblings. Based on the documentary of the same name, the series marks Apple TV+’s first all-Spanish original. The first two episodes are set to bow tomorrow, followed by weekly releases through November 20.

Showrunner, director and executive producer Natalia Beristáin speaks with TV Drama Weekly about taking inspiration from the documentary and producing the series with an entirely Hispanic cast and crew.
