Sky has picked up two dramas from CBS Studios for Sky Witness and NOW, including The Good Wife and The Good Fight spin-off Elsbeth.

Headlined by Carrie Preston, Elsbeth centers on an astute but unconventional attorney who works to corner criminals alongside the NYPD. The series is set to begin airing weekly on Sky Witness and NOW on July 23.

The series also stars Wendell Pierce (Suits, The Wire) and Carra Patterson (Rustin).

Also coming to Sky Witness and NOW later this year is Matlock, led by Kathy Bates as the titular character. The series follows the brilliant eponymous septuagenarian who, after achieving success in her younger years, decides to rejoin the workforce at a prestigious law firm.

Matlock’s cast also features Skye P. Marshall, Jason Ritter, David Del Rio and Leah Lewis.

Both Elsbeth and Matlock are produced by CBS Studios and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

“We are delighted to be bringing two of the newest U.S. dramas to Sky and NOW audiences this year,” said Katie Keenan, group director of acquisitions for the U.K. and Europe at Sky. “Kathy Bates as Matlock and Carrie Preston as Elsbeth are two brilliant characters to bring to our viewers; we know they will be glued to the screen every week.”
