The Crimson Rivers Sells to Warner Bros. Discovery

Warner Bros. Discovery has picked up the SVOD rights to all four seasons of The Crimson Rivers for French-speaking territories and Belgium in a deal with ZDF Studios.

Set in a macabre world of gruesome criminal cases, sadistic killers, creepy rituals and mysterious incidents, The Crimson Rivers is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Jean-Christophe Grangé. The series will launch on Max in France and HBO Max in Belgium on June 11.

Produced by Storia Television in co-production with MAZE PICTURES for France Télévisions and ZDF in cooperation with ZDF Studios, the drama has sold around the world, with sales to, among others, Netflix, NBCUniversal, TV3 Russia, Radio-Canada, SBS, GSN (Walter Presents) and FTV Prima.
