Parasite Star to Lead New Disney+ Drama

Song Kang-Ho (Parasite) is set to star in the upcoming Disney+ period drama Uncle Samsik.

Set in 1960s Korea, the 16-episode Uncle Samsik follows Kim San (Byun Yo-han), an ambitious idealist who is driven to turn his country’s fortunes around. Determined to become a success, San attracts the attention of Uncle Samsik (Kang-Ho), and the two form an uneasy alliance.

The period drama is to debut exclusively on Disney+ this year.
