MGM+ Unveils Additional Casting for Hotel Cocaine

MGM+ has unveiled that Tania Watson (The Head), Corina Bradley (Star-Crossed Romance) and Laura Gordon (Late Night with the Devil) have joined the cast of its 1970s crime thriller Hotel Cocaine.

The series follows Roman Compte, a Cuban exile and general manager of the Mutiny Hotel, the epicenter of the Miami cocaine scene of the late ’70s and early ’80s. The hotel is frequented by Florida businessmen and politicians, international narcos, CIA and FBI agents, models, sports stars and musicians, and Compte is at the center of it all, doing his best to keep it going.

Watson, Bradley and Gordon join the previously announced cast of Danny Pino (Mayans M.C.Law & Order: SVU), Michael Chiklis (The ShieldWinning Time), Mark Feuerstein (PowerThe Baby-Sitters Club) and Yul Vazquez (SeveranceGodfather of Harlem).

New recurring and guest cast members are Mayra Hermosillo (Narcos: Mexico), Juan Pablo Raba (NarcosSix), Erniel Baez (Reacher), Nick Barkla (Blind Company,Em 4 Jay), Cale Ambrozic, Camila Valero (Pacto de SilencioMala Fortuna), Maggie Lacey (JuliaAmerican AnimalsNew Amsterdam), John Ventimiglia (GaslitJessica Jones) and Larry Powell (White Men Can’t JumpThe Browsing Effect).

Chris Brancato created the series and serves as executive producer and showrunner. Guillermo Navarro directed the pilot and also executive produces alongside Brancato, with Michael Panes and Alfredo Barrios Jr.

The eight-part series comes from MGM+ Studios, in partnership with MGM Television. It resumes production this month in the Dominican Republic and is slated to premiere this summer. Amazon MGM Studios Distribution is handling international distribution.
