Apple TV+ Renews Slow Horses

Apple TV+ has ordered a fifth season of the five-time BAFTA-nominated espionage drama Slow Horses.

Starring Gary Oldman, the series follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5. In season five, everyone becomes suspicious when the resident tech nerd gets a glamorous new girlfriend and increasingly bizarre events occur across the city. The Slow Horses must work out how everything is connected.

In addition to Oldman, the ensemble cast features Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Samuel West, Sophie Okonedo, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan and Jonathan Pryce.

Slow Horses is produced for Apple TV+ by See-Saw Films and adapted for television by Will Smith. The complete first three seasons are now streaming on Apple TV+. Season four was ordered in 2022.
